Property data for AI agents

The Placestack MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI agents to U.S. parcels, zoning, permits and zoning decisions. Connect it in a minute and ask in plain English.

find_zoningget_zoning
In R-4, a detached house needs a lot of at least 10,000 square feet and 65 feet wide, set back 20 feet from the street, 10 feet from each side and 30 feet from the rear. It can be up to 40 feet and 3 stories tall (Sec. 2.2.1).

Frequently asked questions

What is an MCP server?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the standard way AI agents connect to outside data and tools. An MCP server lets an agent such as Claude or ChatGPT call Placestack while it answers you.
Which AI agents does it work with?
Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor, and any other client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP.
What is the server URL?
https://mcp.placestack.com/mcp. It uses OAuth, so you sign in with your Placestack account when you connect.
How much does it cost?
The same as the API: 1 credit per lookup and 1 credit per 20 search results. The free plan includes 500 credits.
Can I use it in an agent I am building?
Yes. Connect with an API key from the console, using the Claude Agent SDK, the OpenAI Agents SDK or any MCP client.
